REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS FOR DIVING

Major projects that will be driven by the RDDOs include:

  • Swim 21 accreditation to help diving clubs offer quality assurance to those currently in the sport and any newcomers
  • Implementation of long term athlete development to enable everyone in the regions to develop with the sport as it evolves
  • Flip ā€˜n’ Fun events which will encourage beginners to have fun and develop solid foundations on which to base their future career.

In addition to the major projects, the RDDOs are here to offer assistance in the ongoing development of clubs, to help communication between the many different groups in the diving community and create partnerships links with other sporting organisations.

REGIONAL MANAGERS FOR DIVING

Regional Managers are here to help you, the Diving Club.
They can assist clubs plan Flip ’n’ Fun Festivals, and other specialist days to promote interest in diving. They are there to liaise with all parties involved in diving, including clubs, coaches and officials.

Representing clubs at regional committees, they can raise important issues and give feedback on decisions made.

They will work in conjunction with the National Development Office and clubs should feel free to contact them with any queries they may have.
